There were so many things that I took away from reading your book, “Pandemic Learning Lessons…What is Your Take?”    I guess the biggest take away for me was to realize that everyone is having feelings of uncertainty, and it is okay to feel those feelings. I realized that I had a great deal of anxiety about what the future was going to be in a post-pandemic world. During the pandemic I have been spending most of my time at the cabin and really learning to slow down and enjoy the beauty all around me.  It has taken me so many months to get the place of being able to wake up in the morning at whatever time I wake up feeling a sense of relaxations, rather than hearing the alarm go off at 4:00a.m. and feeling that I need to hurry and get my day going.  What is going to happen when the pandemic is over?  Will I go back to getting up at 4:00 a.m. and feeling the stress? In reading your book, I realized that I can choose what my life is going to be post-pandemic.  I have the power to choose to create the environment, and the amount of work in my life.  What a simple concept!  I particularly liked the information on page 83 that says we can move forward “with a new focus, a new mindset, and a new sense of purpose and intention.”  What a marvelous thought and one that I will incorporate into my thinking.
